Who can rush AKPSI?

Anyone who is a current student at SDSU! We are open to all majors.

Fun Fact: 43% of our brothers are not business majors.

How is rush taking place this semester?

Due to the ongoing pandemic, ALL of our rush events will be held over Zoom. The Zoom code can be found on our Spring 2021 Recruitment page or on our Instagram.

If you're looking for a diverse community on campus filled with genuine and motivated individuals, then Alpha Kappa Psi is the place for you. We are the oldest and largest business fraternity in the world—members in our organization have opportunities to connect with over 200,000 alumni across the globe! As a brotherhood of leaders looking to make a difference in the world, Alpha Kappa Psi offers the opportunity to grow and develop as an individual. Being a part of the Mu Sigma chapter offers invaluable leadership experience that will stick with you long after you leave San Diego State. Members from our chapter have gone on to work for Fortune 500 companies, attend premier graduate schools, travel the world, and make an impact wherever they go.

Do I need to bring anything with me to rush?

Since rush is virtual this semester, all you will need is a laptop/computer with a functioning webcam and microphone along with yourself!

Do I have to wear professional business attire to the rush events?

No! All of our rush events are casual attire. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

What do rush events look like?

Rush events are a great way to interact with active members, and other potential new members. They are a great way to learn more about what the Mu Sigma chapter has to offer! All of our rush events for this semester can be found under the Recruitment tab.

If I am in a Panhellenic sorority or another greek life organization, can I still rush?

Yes! Many of our brothers are actively involved in other sororities and fraternities.

Who can I speak to about rush?
